RECRUIT

A new Recruit is a gamer who has been invited to play with and get to know the PCG gaming community. This period of time is to enable the gamer to decide if PCG is the right online gaming community for them. After this period of time, the Recruit will be voted on by their peers and asked to join PCG as a Private in a squad of a clan.

PRIVATE

The first responsibility of a Private is to register at www.PCGLive.tk. A Private can be classified as a new member to PCG. Responsibilities of a Private include knowing the Honor Code, meeting other PCG members, and participating in branch matches/game nights. Your time spent as a Private is geared towards getting familiar with the PCG community and the professional manner in which we play.

Private’s Responsibilities:
1. Register at www.PCGLive.tk. This must be done in a timely manner or his/her position in the squad will be terminated.
2. Learn, understand, and follow the Honor Code.
3. Learn, understand, and follow the rank structure and chain of command.
4. Participate in Branch Meetings and Game Nights.
5. Attend Branch meetings.
Corporal

Responsibilities of a Corporal include knowing the Honor Code, meeting other PCG members, and participating in branch matches/game nights. Your time spent as a Corporal is geared towards getting familiar with the PCG community and the professional manner in which we play.

Corporal’s Responsibilities:

1. Learn, understand, and follow the Honor Code.
2. Learn, understand, and follow the rank structure and chain of command.
3. Participate in Branch Meetings and Game Nights.
4. Attend Branch meetings.

Squad Leader

A Squad Leader is a PCG gamer who has earned the privilege of getting a PCG gamer tag once approved by his/her Major. As a Squad Leader, leaders will be depending on you to learn game strategies and train with others in order to better prepare for branch matches. A Squad Leader is expected to set an example by being a role model for the Privates and Recruits below you and to help them whenever possible.

Squad Leader’s Responsibilities:
1. Follow the Honor Code.
2. Follow the chain of command.
3. Set an example by being a role model for the Privates and Recruits and help them whenever possible.
4. Work closely with Lieutenants and Commanders to learn new game strategies, attend practices, and train others.
5. Attend Branch meetings.




LIEUTENANT

A Lieutenant is the Commander’s right hand and the first line of defense in upholding the Honor Code. As a Lieutenant, you will be responsible for assisting the Commander in setting up meetings and practices, training lower ranking members, and finding potential recruits. The Lieutenant can also run practices and meetings when his/her Commander is not present.

Lieutenants Responsibilities:
1. Know, understand, and be able to teach all the responsibilities of the lower ranks.
2. Act in a professional manner at all times.
3. Ensure members are following the Honor Code and have registered at www.pcglive.tk .
4. Be active online in the game and on the forums.
5. Show dedication and commitment while assisting his/her commander run a successful Branch.
6. Run weekly meetings as well as having a “Game Night” for your squad.
7. Evaluate and vote on new recruits.
8. Train your Squad Leader as your replacement.
9. Follow the chain of command and take issues to your Commander not higher ranks.
10. Ensure no member is left behind!


Commander (CC)

Commanders are the backbone of PCG and should be respected by all PCG members. As a Commander, he/she is a role model for the Lieutenants and all the members of his/her Branch. A Commander is responsible for running one PCG Branch, overseeing all aspects of his/her Branch, as well as helping other Branches when needed. As a Commander, you must promote Lieutenants to assist you in running the branch. Additionally Commanders will be responsible for updating his/her Branch list and encouraging all members to utilize the clan’s forum. The Commander must ensure that all members have read and are playing by the Honor Code. In addition, the Commander is expected to make sure all clan members are familiar with the rank structure and know who the leaders are in the community. Commanders are also expected to meet with his/her branch weekly to discuss branch issues and vote on promotions within the clan. The Commander works closely with his/her Lieutenants and Majors to create an enjoyable gaming experience for all. A Commander is responsible for taking care of minor matters within the branch. The Commander is expected to report major infractions directly to his/her major or colonial. A Commander becomes eligible for a promotion by running a successful branch that represents what PCG stands for. A Commander must display sound judgment and decision making in all aspects of his/her online interaction. As always, good communication is the key to success.

Commander’s Responsibilities:
1. Know, understand, and be able to teach all the responsibilities of the lower ranks.
2. Run and oversee all aspects of one branch.
3. Help other Commanders when needed.
4. Maintain a branch list at all times.
5. Update your branch/members list on the forums on the 1st and 15th of every month using the prefix branch list.
6. Attend the MANDATORY meeting every Sunday or notify his/her Major if they cannot attend.
7. Work closely with his/her lieutenant and Major to create an enjoyable gaming experience for all members in the PCG community.
8. Handle issues in his/her branch members and take only major infractions to the Section Leader.
9. Communicate in game and on the forums be spamming messages that are passed down from the PCG leaders.
10. Ensure all members know the rank structure and who the leaders are in the community.
11. Request PCC gamer tags from Major for approval.
12. Ensure no member is left behind!

Major (CM)

The Major position comes with many responsibilities, such as being directly responsible for running multiple successful clans. As a Major, you are a role model for all Commanders in your section. By accepting the rank of Major, you are making a commitment to be a fair and responsible leader. This includes making yourself available several times a week to solve problems, hold meetings, and hearing new ideas. The Major work closely with his/her Commanders to ensure that all members are playing in a professional manner. The Major will be responsible for ensuring that Commanders turn in their Branch lists on time and are meeting weekly with their Branch. The Section Leader must attend one of his/her Branch’s meetings per week to ensure participation and share community news. The Major is also a Moderator on the website and is responsible for posting Branch news, Branch events, and communicating with the branches via his/her forum and Branches’ forums. Being a Moderator comes with a lot of responsibility. The Major decides what is appropriate and inappropriate and needs to be removed and warn offenders when the forum rules are broken. The Major is also required to keep discipline within his/her branches and report any infractions directly to the Leaders. The Major is directly responsible for ensuring Commanders fulfill all their requirements listed in the Commanders rank description. A Major is eligible for a promotion after running and maintaining multiple successful branches that represent what PCG stands for. A Major must display sound judgment and decision making in all aspects of his/her online interaction. As always, good communication is the key to success.

Majors Responsibilities:
1. Must be active online and the forums on a regular basis.
2. Be available to hear new ideas, suggestions, comments, and solve problems that arise within his/her section.
3. Work closely with his/her Commanders to ensure that all members are playing in a professional manner and following the Honor Code at all times.
4. Ensure that Commanders post their Branch list on time and finalize them by the 3rd and 17th of every month.
5. Attend one Branch meeting per week.
6. Approve PCG gamer tags.
7. Approve transfers within own section.
8. Be a Moderator on the website, which means deciding what is appropriate and inappropriate and giving warnings to offenders when the forum rules are broken.
9. Post clan news, clan events, and communicating with the clans via his/her forum as well as the clans’ forums.
10. Make sure Commanders are fulfilling their responsibilities by evaluating them on a regular basis.
11. Promote PCG in a positive way to all online gamers.

Colonial (CO)

The Council of Leaders (CI)

The Council of Leaders is made up of the founding members of PCG. The Council works within a democratic structure voting on what is best for all of PCG. These ideals keep the community from being about one person’s quest.
